We've happily adopted a local park in New Smyrna Beach! It happens to be a boat ramp which offers a fantastic opportunity for outreach to the water-loving community. The ramp heads right out to Ponce Inlet, Disappearing Island, Spruce Creek, New Smyrna Creek, etc. Boats launch into an idle speed zone; a perfect place to create a conversation about conservation.

We're barely off the ground, but here's a bit of what we've been up to:

• Awarded Catalysts of Climate Economy | Future Formula Semifinalist

• Partnered with a super talented artist down the coast, Josh Quick.

• Helped to sponsor the 2017 SHORE symposium at the Brannon Center.

• Donated seeds, plants and supplies to the P.E.A.C.E. Arts garden.

• Promoted a ton of lagoon-friendly info on all social media platforms.

• Gifted mangroves for restoration to the great Marine Discovery Center. 

• Applied for an exciting community grant involving Green Volusia, the wonderful Watergoat and more.
